Castle HVAC is fully equipped with EPA certified employees to install
and service air conditioning, heat pumps and roof top packaged systems. Being selected as a Carrier dealer, we can offer to
our customers environmentally sound equipment which uses a non-ozone depleting refrigerant called puron.
Proper sizing is by far the most important facet of a properly designed
air conditioning system. Over sizing a system will result in higher installation costs and higher energy bills. These are
the major factors to consider when determining the right size of an air conditioning system.
1. Use a Right-J load calculation form or program to figure the
load in your home. Right-J is the nationally accepted load calculation formula that accounts for the size of your home, the
window size, type, and direction they face, as well as insulation values in your home. We use the Windows version of Right-J
and lap top computers to size your air conditioner.
2. Examine the existing duct system to insure that it can handle
the air flow required by the air conditioner. On new systems, we size the duct system accordingly to guarantee your satisfaction.
3. Install the system correctly and charge the refrigerant levels
correctly. This will control your operating costs and provide you with the comfort level you desire.
